Porch life: women, beer, rock ‘n’ roll
During spring quarter, the front porch is a unique and ubiquitous phenomenon on the OSU campus, a netherworld juxtaposed between intense studying indoors and insane rioting outside. The front porch is a place sacred and fertile for kegs of beer, music, deviant fun, undercover cops and even love. “A good porch has an atmosphere easily approachable by women, beer, some classic rock and high traffic passing by,” said Elliot Fisher, a senior in biology.
