Trial ends; Jones faces 26 years

The trial of Kylon Jones finally came to a close today as Judge Jennifer L. Brunner gave Jones a sentence of 26 years in prison for being an accomplice in the murder of the Ohio State student Ryan Morbitzer. He was convicted by the jury yesterday on the charges of compliance to murder and tampering with evidence. Full Story

Jones convicted on two counts

After a long three-and-a-half days of deliberation, the jury in the Kylon Jones trial handed down a conviction on two of the three counts Jones faced in the murder of Ohio State student Ryan Morbitzer yesterday. The jury was hung on the first count - complicity to aggravated murder - but found Jones guilty on the counts of complicity to commit murder, a lesser complicity to reckless homicide, and tampering with evidence.
