Glad to hear everyone got out alright. I remember a number of false alarms the two years I was in Centennial, but wow that this was a real one. Maybe it's not a bad idea to issue guidelines on electrical usage in the rooms.
One just happened to be on probably the coldest frigging night in January, 1997. On that one, multiple alarms were pulled and it took the F.D. something like half an hour to get them all turned off. We speculated, shivering outside, that the prankster was still inside, running around behind the firefighters and re-pulling the switches. When we finally got back in we were all cold and awake so we took a drive north of town to see Hale-Bopp and watch the sun rise, then went to Pancake City for breakfast. That's still a favorite memory. Random, I know.
