This is an example of the pervasive ignorance that's out there regarding bare feet. There is no such health code or law in Missouri or anywhere else in the United States. One would think that an employee of a food establishment, especially in a managerial position, would be familiar with what the ACTUAL health code requirements are, and not make such public statements without doing her homework. A phone call, email, or letter to her local or state health department should clear up this misconception. Such a rule would make no sense anyway - bare feet, just like shoes, remain on the floor. How could they possibly have any relation to health issues in a store or restaurant any more than shoes do?
