BREAKING NEWS: Edge and Mills win councilmember seats

Election results for the Kirksville City Council were announced at 8 p.m. this evening at the Adair County Courthouse. Kirksville residents Roger A. Edge Sr. and Jerry Mills will replace former council members Martha Rowe and Todd Kuhns.

Edge and Mills received 646 (28.22%) and 730 (31.89%) votes, respectively. Candidates Eddy A. Williams and Betty L. McLane-Iles fell short with 357 (15.6%) and 545 (23.81%) votes respectively. Write-in candidates received 11 (.48%) votes.

Mills and Edge will each serve a three-year term.
