The Truman women's basketball team is focused on making the MIAA Tournament this year. The Bulldogs will rely on a lot of depth and a fast-paced tempo to get them there. Last season, the team finished 11-16 overall and 6-14 in the conference and came up two games short of making the MIAA tournament.

Men’s squad features six freshmen
The recruiting class of 2010 is the largest that head coach Jack Schrader has brought to campus in recent years. There will be four new guards including freshmen Isaac Gardner, Pat Sodemann, Marek Bush and Justin Strickland. Freshman Josh May will be the only new forward on this year's team.
